HELEN - A few new details have been released about the single-vehicle wreck that injured three people outside Helen just after 10:30 p.m. Monday.
The wreck happened on Georgia Highway 356 near Clayton Road, a short distance from Georgia Highway 75 at Robertstown.
A White County Sheriff's Office spokesman said the 2008 Nissan Altima driven by an 18-year-old male identified as Jamie Daley,
The vehicle, which was traveling southbound negotiating a curve, ran off the highway striking a guy wire.
A medical helicopter from Children's Healthcare of Atlanta was called and landed in Helen to pick up a 9-year-old victim of the wreck.
Daley, another adult, and a 15-year-old passenger all suffered visible injuries. Both adults were taken by ambulance for treatment.
Identities of those hurt, and updates on their conditions, have not been released.
The wreck closed Georgia Highway 356 between Robertstown and Unicoi until just after 1 a.m. Tuesday.
White County Sheriff's Office investigated the wreck.
