GAINESVILLE — Hall County sheriff's deputies recently helped reunite a 10-year-old autistic girl with her stuffed bunny.
The sheriff's department was contacted after the stuffed animal disappeared from the girl's family's car. The sheriff's office issued a lookout, and the stuffed bunny was returned a short time later.
"Thank you to the person who turned her in. If you are also the person who took her...thank you for doing the right thing," the gir'ls mother said. "My daughter couldn't be happier. They are out jumping on the trampoline having fun and life is good."
The story of the missing bunny and its recovery is included in the current Hall County Newsletter, which did not identify the girl or her mother.
