GAINESVILLE — A portion of Broad Street in Gainesville be closed through the weekend starting today for the installation of of raised crosswalks.
City officials say the affected section of the street is between Prior and Spring streets. The road is scheduled to reopen before 8:00 Monday morning.
No through traffic will be permitted and alternate routes and detours will be marked in the work area.
