So far this season, one of the hardest tasks for Limited Late Model racers at Hartwell Speedway in Hartwell, Ga. has been keeping Jimmy Johnson out of victory lane.
Johnson showed why on Saturday night, as he powered to his sixth feature victory of the season, edging out Bubba Russell, the previous week’s division win, for top honors.
Keith Freeman finished in third, with Chris Woods in fourth and Brandon Haley in fifth.
Haley had a better result in the SECA Late Model feature, as he scored the victory over Grant Jordan. Payton Freeman finished in third, followed by Russell Fleeman in fourth and Tyler Harvey in fifth.
In other action, Rod Roberts edged out Mitchell Godfrey for the Hobby Stock feature win. Steve Yarborough finished third, with Gerald Stanley in fourth.
Kole Hardy topped the field for the Modified Street feature victory. Chris Jones came home in second, followed by Mark Parham in third, Evan Brown in fourth and Clifton Snow in fifth.
Cal Moon was the winner in the Stock V8 feature. Cassidy Russell, Heath Cagle, Ricky Mauldin and Terry Brown rounded out the top five.
In the Stock Four feature, J.J. Garrett was first to cross under the checkered flag to score the win. Shane Strickland finished second, followed by Jeremy Hicks in third, Drew Griffeth in fourth and Jessica Still in fifth.
Michael Elrod scored the win in the Up Front feature, with T.J. Watts in second, Justin Sorrow in third, Wayne Chapman in fourth and Joel Powell in fifth.
