GAINESVILLE — After Saturday, June 6, Gainesville Chick-Fil-A customers will have to wait 10 days to get their chicken fix - or drive to another franchise.
The Chick-Fil-A on Shallowford Road and Pearl Nix Parkway is closing after 19 years in that location and moving to a new location at 805 Dawsonville Highway.
Construction on the Dawsonville Highway location begin in April, according to Chick-Fil-A of Gainesville's Facebook page.
The new location will have a grand opening on June 17.
