FLOWERY BRANCH — A public forum will be held Monday for the candidates seeking two vacancies on the Flowery Branch City Council. It will be a part of the regular meeting of the South Hall Republican Club which will begin at 6:30 at the Spout Springs Library.
The candidates in the June 16 special elections are: (Post 1) Michael Justice and Chris Mundy and (Post 5) Monica Beatty, Alan Davenport, Ed Edwards and Nicole Kriews.
Also at the meeting, the South Hall representative on the Hall County Board of Commissioners, Kathy Cooper, is scheduled to give a county government update.
Club President Ed Asbridge says the meeting will be open to the public.
