GAINESVILLE — Patrol officers with the Gainesville Police Department recently noticed the basketball nets on Atlanta Street needed to be replaced. So, they sprung into action.
They purchased new ones out of their own pockets and then engaged some of the residents of the area in a pickup game of basketball.
