The Mini Stock division took center stage at Anderson Motor Speedway in Williamston, SC Friday night, and David Darnell made the most of it.
Darnell held off a deep field of competitors on the 3/8 mile paved raceway to score the victory. Chad Campbell rolled home in second, followed by Bobby Brock in third, Ken Candiotti in fourth and Colby Howard in fifth.
Ryan Lockwood, Brian Porter, Ben Kay, B.J. Thrasher and Brandon Segars rounded out the top ten.
In other action, Jason McDowell held off Shon Gibson to make the trip to victory lane with the Brown Motorsports Modifieds feature win. Brandon Segars finished in third, with Trevor Sanders in fourth and Brad Vest in fifth.
Shawn Campbell took the win in the Renegades feature. Chris Whitfield finished in second, with Jonathan Ragsdale in third, Jack Robertson in fourth and Steve Guthrie in fifth.
In the Super Stocks feature, Michael Mote held off Billy Coker to score the win. Ricky Kelly, Shaun Mize and Jonathon Ragsdale rounded out the top five.
Justin Ashley scored the win in the US Legends feature, with Stevie Johns in second, Rex Brown in third, Ryan Millington in fourth and Zach Leonardi in fifth.
Scott Parker took the victory in the Front Wheel Drive feature. Robert Hall finished second, followed by Casey Burkett in third, Don Tavernia in fourth and Michael Posey in fifth.
Anderson Motor Speedway returns to action on Friday, May 15, featuring racing form the Late Model Stocks, Renegades, Supers Stocks, Modifieds, US Legends and Front Wheel Drive divisions.
