UNDATED - Governor Nathan Deal is making the rounds in north Georgia Friday, signing into law bills passed during the 2015 legislative session.
The Governor will spend the early morning in northwest Georgia, but then he will be in Dawsonville at 10:15 a.m. to sign House Bill 71, an expansion of the Crime Victims Bill of Rights, giving victims more notice when a criminal is up for parole. The ceremony takes places at the Dawsonville Municipal Complex on Highway 53.
Then, the Governor will make a stop in Lumpkin County at 11 a.m. to sign House Bill 63, known as the Georgia Employer GED Tax Credit Act. The ceremony is scheduled for the Lanier Technical College Adult Education Center on Johnson Street in Dahlonega.
