GAINESVILLE - Two Hall County high school students and one from Lakeview Academy have been named 2015 Georgia Scholars.
David Lawson of Chestatee and Hunter McGhee of Flowery Branch and Hicks Addison of Lakeview are among 183 seniors from both public and private schools from across the state received this select and prestigious recognition. Students at other northeast Georgia schools, including Banks County High School and Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School, were also chosen. (Click on the link below for the full list.)
“Through the Georgia Scholar program, the Department identifies and honors high school seniors who have achieved excellence in school and community life. The program is coordinated by the Department’s Excellence Recognition Office and through local coordinators in each public school system and in private schools throughout the state.
