Jury indicts 3 in killing of UGA student from Suwanee

By AccessWDUN staff

ATHENS - Three men have been indicted in the shooting death of a University of Georgia student earlier this year.

Authorities believe 21-year-old Min Seok Cho was killed in January during a drug sale that turned into an armed robbery. The Athens Banner-Herald reports the jury's indictment filed this week charges 21-year-old Cormaine Xavier Goss and 19-year-old Andre Ruff with malice murder.

A third man, Lucas Amsler Raposo, faces a felony murder charge.

Police say Raposo also was a university student and asked to borrow Cho's gun after becoming worried he could be robbed during the planned drug sale. They say Cho instead came with Raposo on January 13 and was shot in the head during the robbery.

Cho was a graduate of Peachtree Ridge High School in Suwanee.
