Health firm to expand presence in Atlanta, creating 900 jobs

ATLANTA (AP) City officials say the health care firm Kaiser Permanente plans to expand its presence in Atlanta, creating about 900 jobs by 2019.

The Atlanta mayor's office said in a statement that Kaiser Permanente will open a new information technology campus in the city's midtown area.

Officials said the expansion brings Kaiser Permanente's total presence in Georgia to more than 4,000 employees and physicians.
