DANIELSVILLE -- The North Hall boys tennis team won its second straight region title Wednesday with a 3-1 victory over North Oconee at Madison County High.
The Trojans won the Region 7-AAA title in 2014.
Meanwhile, the Buford girls fended off the Lady Trojans 3-0 in the 8-AAAA girls title match.
North Hall's boys got opening wins from Jackson Davis at No. 1 singles, who beat Aashal Dave 6-3, 6-3. Reid Lattanzi lost to Elijah Bullock 6-4, 6-1 at No. 3 singles.
The No. 1 doubles team of Matt Booth and Paxton Gillespie defeated Jason Hamby and Sam Knell 6-4, 6-2. Dalton Patterson clinched the match at No. 2 singles with a 6-3, 4-6, 6-3 win over Henri Johnson.
The No. 2 doubles team of Daniel Martin and Dawson Smith had split sets when the match was clinched by Patterson.
North Hall will open the Class AAAA playoffs next Tuesday against the No. 4 seed from Region 7-AAA.
