HOOVER, ALABAMA -- Mikey White's run-scoring single in the 11th inning rallied Alabama past Georgia 7-6 Friday in front of a Hoover Metropolitan Stadium crowd of 3,247.

Neither starter figured in the decision as both teams bullpen combined to allow seven runs. Junior right-hander Sean McLaughlin started for the Bulldogs and struck out a career-high 9 in 6.1 innings while Guilbeau went six innings and allowed three runs on six hits with five walks and five strikeouts. Ultimately, Mitch Greer (1-1) picked up the win with 1.1 scoreless innings of relief while Cheek (2-2) surrendered three runs on five hits for the loss.
In the 10th, freshman Keegan McGovern lined an RBI-double off Tide closer Thomas Burrows to put Georgia back in front 5-4. Later with two outs and the bases loaded, Wrenn notched an RBI on a walk for a 6-4 lead. However in the bottom of the inning, the first three Tide hitters reached including an RBI-single by J.C. Wilhite and a game-tying sacrifice fly by Vincent to push it to the 11th.
