DEMOREST - Piedmont College music student Nikolai Peek of Cornelia will perform his Senior Organ Recital at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, April 16, in the Chapel at the campus in Demorest.
In the fall of 2015, Peek will be attending the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University to pursue a Master’s Degree in Organ Performance and Sacred Music.
Peek began organ lessons with Dr. James F. Mellichamp at age 15 and has continued his studies under Dr. Mellichamp while a Piedmont College student. Peek will perform works by Claude Balbastre, J.S. Bach, César Franck, Felix Mendelssohn, Louis Vierne, Joseph Bonnet, and Jean Langlais.
The recital is free and the community is invited to attend. The Chapel is located at 992 Central Avenue, Demorest.
