WINDER, Ga. (AP) -- Georgia officials are asking for public input on a master plan for Fort Yargo State Park.
The Department of Natural Resources says park users suggested a dog park, wedding venue, zip line, paved trail and festival field during the recent first round of comments. At a meeting April 7 officials plan to discuss the feasibility of those options and ask for additional public comments.
The master plan is meant to be a long-range vision for the park for the next 20 years or so.
The meeting is set to be held in the Camp Will-A-Way gym at the park in Winder.
