Baseball: Crocker leads East Hall past Dawson Co.

RABBITTOWN -- Jonah Crocker had a double and a home run to lead East Hall to a 6-1 victory over Dawson County Monday in Region 7-AAA baseball action.

East Hall made the most of nine hits but the Vikings pitching staff scattered 10 Dawson County hits. The Tigers stranded 11 base runners in the game.

Eli Stuart went 6 2/3 fanning six and allowing 10 hits and one run to get the win.

Dawson County took the lead in the top of the first but could not get another runner across the plate. East Hall answered with two runs in the bottom of the first to take the lead for good.

The Vikings scored two runs each in the third and and fourth inning to pull away.
