LOGANVILLE -- The Gainesville tennis teams took easy 5-0 wins over Loganville Wednesday in Region 8-AAAAA action.
For the boys, GHS lost just three games. In singles, Jeffery Kiser and Graham McKinnon took 6-0 6-0 victories and Jackson Fox won 6-1 6-2. In doubles, Reagan Williams and Edward Belch won 6-0 6-0 and Roan Thompson and Trevor Munn also won 6-0 6-0.
For the girls, the Lady Red Elephants dropped just five gamaes. In singles, Katherine Wright won 6-0 6-0; Haley Frankum won 6-2 6-1; and Josie Evert won 6-2 6-0.
In doubles, Madi kiser and Georgia Summer took a 6-0 6-0 win and Ali Waggoner and Paige Ackerman won 6-0 6-0.
The boys next will play North Hall Friday 5:30 at the Georgia Gwinnett College tournament. The girls will play Lambert at 3:30 Friday at the GGC tournament.
