GAINESVILLE -- Mikey Petraroi drew a bases loaded walk win the bototom of the eight inning driving in Eric George with the winning run in a 10-9 victory over North Oconee Tuesday in Region 8-AAAA action.
Chestatee pounded out 13 hits on the night led by George, who had two hits, two RBI and scored two runs. Caleb Jameson had two hits and two RBI and Griffin Moore had two hits and one RBI for the War Eagles.
Brian Crawford had two hits, Joe Sutton had two hits and one RBI and Sean Irick had one hit, two RBI, and scored twice for Chestatee.
Peyton Rider pitched four scoreless innings before being knocked out in the sixth. Sutton picked up the win pitching a scoreless eighth inning for Chestatee.
Chestatee will travel to North Oconee on Wednesday.
