GAINESVILLE -- The Chestatee girls soccer team rebounded for two region losses last week to take a 2-1 win over Rabun Gap Tuesday at War Eagles Stadium.
Sadie Foote scrapped through solid defense to score for Chestatee in the 27th minute of the first half and the Lady War Eagles would take a 1-0 lead into halftime.
Rabun Gap tied the game at 1-1 on a 40-yard blast by Semira Rivers in the 27th minute of the second half. Alyssa Yarck answered with a goal with 13:31 remaining for Chestatee for the eventual game-winner.
The Lady War Eagles (6-4) set another milestone for Coach Mark Dunn, giving him his 100th victory at Chestatee.
