GAINESVILLE -- The North Hall boys and girls tennis teams both took 5-0 wins over White County Monday in Region 8-AAAA action.
Neither team dropped a set with the girls losing just four total games and the boys losing just three total games.
For the girls, in singles, Natalie Oxley beat Carly Thompson 6-2, 6-0, Kelsey McCray defeated Taylor Dockery 6-1, 6-0, and Tricia Dial beat Maddie Cope 6-0, 6-0.
In doubles, the team of Hannah Gibson and Kaitlyn Smith knocked off Madeline Bryson and Ani Simpson 6-0, 6-1 and Courtney Barnes and MaryClare Patterson defeated Rachel Watts and Blake Underwood 6-0, 6-0.
The Lady Trojans improved to 3-1, 2-0 in Region 8-AAAA.
For the boys, in singles, Jackson Davis beat Clay Dockery 6-0 6-1, Dalton Patterson defeated Austin Burns 6-0 6-1, and Reid Lattanzi beat Trace Carter 6-0 6-1.
In doubles, the team of Matt Boot and Paxton Gillespie defeated Max London and Jackson Dockery 6-0 6-0 and Matthew Chewning and Masa Kobayashi beat John Burkett and Zac Dodd 6-0 6-0.
The North Hall boys improved to 4-1 overall, 2-0 in Region 8-AAAA.
Both North Hall teams will travel to Monroe Area on Tuesday for another region match.
