RMA to host gospel concert

GAINESVILLE - Riverside Military Academy (RMA) is hosting a gospel concert in the Carlos and Sandra Cervantes Theatre for the Arts in August.

"A few years ago I worked with the City of Gainesville and was blessed to have been able to work the final concert that was held at the Georgia Mountains Center," said Candy Robinson, RMA's Coordinator of External Business Activities. "The tears and comments I saw and heard when the concert was over was truly heart wrenching."

Robinson said she promised herself if she was ever in a position to bring gospel music back to Gainesville, she would make it happen.

"Thankfully our Head of School and RMA's Executive Staff were fully on board with this, so here we are with three wonderful groups/individuals (scheduled to appear in August)."
