WINDER -- The Flowery Branch girls tennis team swept the doubles in taking a 4-1 victory over Winder-Barrow in Region 8-AAAAA action.
The Lady Falcons (5-1, 5-0 Region 8-AAAAA) got wins at doubles from Brooke Kane and Brenna Martin, who beat Hannah Easterling and Kathryn Faulkner at No. 1 6-2, 6-3 and Kaia Clark and Kylie McGuire, who defeated Haleigh Easterling and Anna Bass 6-1, 6-0 at No. 2.
Peyton Brick defeated Michelle Tippens 6-3, 6-3 at No. 2 singles and Olivia Correa whipped Maddie Dufrense 6-1, 6-0 at No. 3 singles for Flowery Branch.
Macie Wilson got the Lady Bulldoggs win at No. 1 singles beating Breanna Benton 1-6, 6-4, 6-3.
