Baseball: Jefferson drops 8-AAA contest to Oconee Co.

JEFFERSON -- The Jefferson baseball team dropped its first Region 8-AAA contest of the season Tuesday in a 4-0 loss to Oconee County at home.

The Dragons (7-2, 3-1 Region 8-AAA) could not generate any offense behind Micah Carpenter, who took the loss on the mound.

Jefferson next will travel to Oconee County on Friday in a REGION doubleheader.
