Tennis: GHS teams sweep Winder-Barrow

Both the Gainesville boys and girls tennis teams took 5-0 victories Tuesday over Winder-Barrow in Region 8-AAAAA action.

For the girls,
1s Katherine Wright, Haley Frankum, nd Josey Evert all took straight set wins in singles. The doubles teams of Georgia Summer and Madi Kiser and Paige Ackerman and Ali Waggoner also took straight wins.

For the boys, Graham Mckinnon, Jeffery Kiser, and Jackson Fox also won in singles ins traight sets. The doubles teams of Reagan Williams and Edward Belch and Roan Thompson and Trevor Munn lost just three games combined.

Both teams will play host to Cedar Shoals at Longwood Park on Thursday in another 8-AAAAA duel.
