Girls tennis: Lady Knights edge Madison County, 3-2

DANIELSVILLE -- The Johnson girls tennis team defeated Madison County 3-2 on Tuesday in Danielsville.

The Lady Knights won at No. 3 singles behind Aly Groover, 6-2, 6-4.

Johnson also swept the doubles points, as the No. 1 team of Kaitlin Houston/Jessica Wucinski prevailed 1-6, 6-1, 6-3. And the No. 2 team of Sloan Sengson/Lydia Connally won 6-2, 7-5.
