Gov. Deal: February tax revenues up more than 12 percent

ATLANTA (AP) Gov. Nathan Deal says the state's net tax collections are up more than 12 percent over this time last year.

Deal on Friday announced that February tax collections totaled $943.7 million, an increase of nearly $106 million compared to February 2014.

Deal said in a statement that year-to-date net tax revenue totaled $12.41 billion, an increase of about 5.8 percent compared to the previous fiscal year.
