The Lakeview Academy girls soccer team opened in Area 8-A schedule with a solid 7-1 victory over George Walton Academy Wednesday.
Carmen Wagner scored four goals to pace the Lady Lions (2-1, 1-0 Area 8-A). Ellie Gravitt scored two goals and Meredith Tucker one for Lakeview.
Shannon Waddell, Jackie Allen, Annie Dempsey, Bree Bell, and Lauren Sartor all registered assists for Lakeview. Ansley Rochester recorded three saves in goal for the Lady Lions.
Lakeview Academy next play host to West Hall at 5:30 p.m.on Friday in a makeup game from earlier in the season.
