CLERMONT - Several hundred people are expected in Clermont this weekend for the Gainesville Cycling Grand Prix. Races will be run both Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday racing will benefit the Concord Baptist Mexico Family Mission and on Sunday, the racing will benefit the Challenged Child & Friends.
Saturday's Circuit Race & Time Trials start and finish at Concord Baptist Church. Sunday, the Clermont Highlands Road Race starts from Downtown Clermont, and covers a 9.5-mile loop course.
