GAINESVILLE - Early voting begins Monday in Georgia for special elections and referendums scheduled March 17, including the Hall County SPLOST (Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax) referendum.
In Hall County, voting will take place at the county Government Center in the Elections and Voter Registration Office. The office is open from 8:00-5:00, Monday-Friday.

Other referendums being held in northeast Georgia include one on extension of the education sales tax in White County and an education sales tax in Dawson County. In addition, voters in Buford will be asked to approve a $37.9 million school bond issue.
Early voting will end March 13.
