Tadmore students among winners at recent regional Social Studies Fair

OAKWOOD - Georgia Council for the Social Studies 2015 Regional Social Studies Fair was held at The University of North Georgia/Gainesville recently.<br />

The competition was open to grades 5-12 in the Northeastern Division. <br />
<br />
All eight projects presented from Tadmore Elementary were among the Regional winners. <br />
<br />
Fifteen fifth graders from Tadmore researched and presented the winning projects. The students took home two First Place ribbons, four second place ribbons, and two third place ribbons. <br />
<br />
The First place winners will participate in the State Social Studies Fair on April 18 at Clayton College. <br />
<br />
Students participating in the fair were First Place Winners : Cheyenne Smith, Ellenie Rodriguez, Melanie Flores, Cielo Caraballo, and Julissa Salas; Second/Third Place Winners: Giancarlo Alvaraz, Kevin Gonzalez, Javier Mendoza, Levi Howard, Nancy Contreras, Lizber Paz, Jonathan Rodriguez, Roberto Silva, Lizeth Chavez, Maria DeLuna.
