GRAYSON — Buford held Bannkere to single-digit scoring in all four quarters in taking a 59-28 victory in the first round of the Grayson Ram Classic at Grayson High School.
The Lady Wolves (7-3) led 13-8 after the first quarter and 25-15 at halftime. They blew the game open outscoring Banneker 18-6 in the third quarter.
Zikaya Wright paced Buford with 11 points and Audrey Wiener and Marissa Bruce each had 10 points for the Lady Wolves.
Buford next will take on Class AAAAAA Mountain View on Tuesday in the semifinals at Grayson.
