CLEVELAND — The Flowery Branch girls moved into the finals of the White County Christmas Classic with a 78-47 victory over Campbell Friday at the White County gym.
The Lady Falcons (10-0) opened the game with a 21-10 first quarter and then used a big second half to put the game away. Campbell cut the lead to 32-24 by halftime but Flowery Branch outscored the Lady Spartans 20-7 in the third quarter. The Lady Falcons outscored Campbell 46-23 in the second half.
Taniah Worth poured in 20 points to lead Flowery Branch. Maddie Hetzel and Julianne Sutton each scored 11 points and Queen Scott added 10 for the Ladyv Falcons.
Flowery Branch next will play in the championship game on Saturday at 5 p.m.
