GAINESVILLE — Lakeview Academy outscored Union County 31-12 in the second half to pull away for a 54-30 win Tuesday night.
The Lady Lions (3-4) led 13-6 after the first quarter and 23-18 at halftime. They used a 15-7 third quarter to pull away and then blew the game open with a 16-5 fourth quarter.
Hanna Grogan paced Lakeview Academy with 35 points, including getting her the 1,000th point of her career. Kristen Copeland added eight points for the Lady Lions.
Lakeview next will travel to Providence Christian Academy on Friday.
