CLEVELAND - Four people were hurt, one with major injuries, in a single-vehicle wreck Monday morning on Duncan Bridge Road (Georgia Highway 384), near the intersection with Albert Henderson Road.
On-scene reports say the injuries resulted when a passenger van ran off the right side of the roadway and struck two trees, coming to rest between the trees.
One patient was out of the vehicle when emergency personnel arrived, but officials had to extricate the others.
The crash was reported around 9:10 a.m. and is being investigated by the White County Sheriff’s Office. No further details are available yet.
One lane of Duncan Bridge Road was shut down for a short period of time while officials worked the wreck.
