GAINESVILLE - The Rotary Club of Gainesville soliciting nominations for the 2016 Man and Woman of the Year awards.
Since 1939, the club has sponsored the Man of the Year Award and added Woman of the Year in 1944. The awards will be conferred for leadership and service to the community, state, and nation. Each award is bestowed to those community leaders who have demonstrated extraordinary voluntary community service. Membership in the club is not a criterion for the award.
The awards will be presented at the 77th Annual Banquet of the Rotary Club of Gainesville on February 8, 2016 at the Chattahoochee Country Club.
