LOGANVILLE — Buford rallied from a big first quarter deficit to beat Greater Atlanta Christian Saturday in a neutral site game.
The Lady Wolves (2-0) trailed 18-5 after the first quarter but began chipping away. The outscored the Lady Spartans 17-8 in the second quarter to trim the lead to 26-22by halftime.
Buford took its first lead in the third quarter using a 16-11 run to take a 38-37 lead into the fourth quarter. The two teams went back-and-forth in the fourth quarter with Buford holding on down the stretch.
Zikaya Wright led the way for the Lady Wolves with 15 points. Marissa Bruce added 12 for Buford.
