FLOWERY BRANCH - A brush fire that was caused by an illegal burn damaged a double-wide mobile home in Flowery Branch Saturday afternoon.
According to Zachary Brackett of the Hall County Fire Services, firefighters were called to the home on Oliver Road just after 3:00 and upon arrival saw flames underneath the structure. The fire damaged exterior siding, an interior wall and underpinning, causing around $5,000 of damage.
Brackett said officials had the area cleared before 4:oo and no charges have been reported.
