CLEVELAND — White County kept its playoff hopes alive on Friday, recording a 30-14 win over Monroe Area in Cleveland.
The Warriors (3-6, 3-3 Region 8-AAAA) must defeat North Hall next week by 12 or more points to seal a playoff berth.
Kaleb Crane led White County with 102 yds rushing and 2 TDs in Friday's win. Crane also had an 80-yard interception return for a score.
Nasser Clark also rushed for 37 yds and a TD for the Warriors. Bradley Hurst added a 38-yard field goal. Sam Smith also recorded 3 receptions for 42 yards.
The Warriors held a 16-0 half advantage but led just 16-6 after the third quarter before pulling away in the fourth quarter.
White County will play host to North Hall next week in the two teams' regular season finale.
