FLOWERY BRANCH - Sterling on the Lake staged its annual Harvest Balloon Festival Saturday near Flowery Branch.
Though the balloons, including tethered rides were not scheduled to lift off until about 5:30, there was a full day of activities for young and old alike. This year's event raised money for Challenged Child and Friends and the Hall County Animal Shelter.
