GAINESVILLE - Acting on a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, Hall County Sheriff's investigators have charged a Gainesville man with possession of child pornography.
The tip, according to Hall County Sheriff's Deputy Nicole Bailes, was regarding, "an image that was uploaded onto Facebook under the user name of Troylee Bennett."
Bailes said investigators executed a search warrant at Bennett's Glen Haven Drive residence and discovered an image of child pornography on Bennett's tablet.
Investigators obtained a warrant for Bennett's arrest on Tuesday. He was arrested at his residence on Wednesday, according to Bailes.
"Investigators are still in the process of analyzing all of Bennett’s electronics and further charges are anticipated," Bailes wrote in an email to accessWDUN.
Troylee Quinton Bennett, 26, was being held at the Hall County Jail without bond. Bailes said his first court appearance was expected Thursday.
