GAINESVILLE - Gainesville Parks and Recreation is proud to announce the 5th Annual Trick or Treat on the Trail on Saturday, October 24 from 3-5pm in the Midtown Greenway on Grove Street.
Each year, Gainesville’s Midtown Greenway comes to life with whimsically painted house fronts, games, bounce houses, and a petting zoo. More than 100,000 pieces of candy will be handed out this year.
Trick or Treat on the Trail was created to give children a safe alternative for trick or treating without losing the traditional feel of going door to door. The event is free and recommended for children under 12.
