Gainesville-Hall Co. Economic Development Report released

GAINESVILLE - The Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce has released its 2015 Economic Development Report. It outlines economic development activity in Gainesville-Hall County contributing to the recent rating that spotlights it as one of the top performing communities in Georgia and the nation. <br /> <br /> "Gainesville-Hall County had 24 new and expanded businesses announce 1,300 new jobs and a committed $150 million in capital investment in 2014," said Tim Evans, Vice President of Economic Development for the Greater Hall Chamber. "Global firms expanding their North American business include King's Hawaiian, Jinsung TEC, Kubota, Big Creek Foods, Tatsumi, Elringklinger and Innobots."<br /> <br /> In addition to growing and expanding industries, the area continues to have robust activity in retail development, healthcare services and tourism.
