GAINESVILLE - Gainesville High School graduation will be held this year at City Park in order to accommodate more people who wish to attend the ceremony.<br />

Gainesville Schools Supt. Wanda Creel said Wednesday "this was a school decision with a student-led focus."<br />

The ceremony will be held at 7:00 p.m. May 22. Dr. Creel added that in case of foul weather, the ceremony would be held the following morning at 10:00 at City Park. The ceremonies in recent years have been held in the GHS gym.
