ATLANTA - Hall County State Court Solicitor-General Stephanie Woodard has been named to the Georgia Commission on Family Violence.<br />

She was appointed to the position by Gov. Nathan Deal.<br />

The commission, which was created in 1992, works with communities across the state "to provide leadership in strengthening Georgia's families by ending family violence," according to its Website.<br />
<br />
Woodard became the State Court Solicitor-General in January 2009 and has served as chair of the Hall County Domestic Violence Task Force. <br />
