Boys basketball: Warriors sweep seasons series over Lumpkin County

DAHLONEGA -- White County snapped a two-game losing streak with a 57-51 win over <br />
Lumpkin County Saturday in a non-region contest on the road.<br />

It was the third win of the season for the Warriors (11-7) over the Indians (6-14) who had a two-game win streak snapped.<br />
<br />
Whit Mauney led White County with 13 points. Desmon Mataro added 12 points and Bradley Hurst and Maurice Sutton had eight points apiece.<br />
<br />
Lumpkin County was led by Jack Howard with 16 points. Brandon Zarate added 11 points for the Indians.
