Big rig crash closes Hwy. 129 at I-85 in Jackson Co.

PENDERGRASS - Law enforcement officials say the northbound lanes of Highway 129 at Interstate 85 in Jackson County were closed to traffic for several hours following the crash of a tractor trailer.<br /> <br /> Fuel spilled into the roadway, according to authorities, and it took work crews a good portion of the morning rush hour to clear the mess.<br /> <br /> There is no word on injuries or on the cause of the wreck.<br /> <br />
