Dogs give promotions to assistants Rocker, McClendon

ATHENS -- Georgia coach Mark Richt has given promotions to assistants Tracy Rocker and Bryan McClendon.<br />

Rocker, the defensive line coach, has been named associate head coach. McClendon, the running backs coach and recruiting coordinator, was named assistant head coach.<br />
<br />
Rocker's new title came after his first season at Georgia, following three years as defensive line coach for the NFL Tennessee Titans. Rocker, a former Auburn standout, was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2004.<br />
<br />
McClendon, a former Georgia wide receiver, joined the staff in 2009. He began heading the recruiting efforts last year.
