MONROE -- Lakeview Academy held George Walton Academy to just 10 first half points en route to a 51-34 Region 8-A win on the road Saturday.<br />

The win kept the Lady Lions (10-6, 6-0 Region 8-A) atop the region standings.<br />
<br />
Lakeview led 12-8 after the first quarter but used a 10-2 second quarter to take control. George Walton climbed back into the game outscoring the Lady Lions 17-12 in the third quarter to cut the lead to 34-27.<br />
<br />
But Lakeview responded with a huge fourth quarter outscoring the Lady Bulldogs (7-7, 2-4) 17-7 in the final eight minutes.<br />
<br />
Halee Cash led Lakeview with 12 points. Hanna Grogan added 11 points and Schyler Miller 10 for the Lady Lions.
