DAWSONVILLE -- The Dawson County girls basketball team held Pacelli scoreless in two quarters in stunning 66-5 rout Friday night at the Dawson County gym.<br />

The Lady Tigers (16-0) led 24-2 after the first quarter and Pacelli and the Lady Vikings (2-7) would not score again until the fourth quarter. Dawson County outscored Pacelli 34-0 in the second and third quarter.<br />

Katelynn Simpson recorded a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds for Dawson County, which had nine players score. Sheyenne Seabolt added 10 points, Ansley Costley had nine points on three 3-pointers, and Ashley Parker finished with eight points for the Lady Tigers.<br />

The Lady Tigers will put their unbeaten streak on the line Saturday traveling to East Hall in a key Region 7-AAA contest. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m.
